Places like Fort Edmonton Park incorporate actors, activities, and period buildings to help visitors learn about the park’s history. What interpretative features or hands-on experiences would you like to see in Red Deer’s park system?

This is Red Deer's best kept little secret, BUT why is it not overseen by the the Museum whose job it is to interpret history rather then WEES whose job to interpret nature???

The parks need to be clean and safe. Nothing else is needed.

we have a lot of history along the river - some of the landings were used by the first settlers...

Other places of significance - like Bower Ponds - are the result of land reclamation after industry use of an area

Having these historical spots "badged" or signed with historical explanations would add some Red Deer History education to an outing...
