Do our parks 'miss the mark'?

Comments

Keeping our parks clean and beautiful

Communities like Tofino, BC are banning smoking in parks to reduce the litter associated with cigarette butts. While The City is not considering an outdoor smoking ban in parks, we would like our parks to remain clean and beautiful. How can we expand or improve our efforts to encourage Red Deerians to respect nature within our community?

The park and trail system is home to several outdoor gyms and a wheelchair accessible playground. What else would you like to see in the park system to make it more accessible for all Red Deerians?
